Apple’s services revenue is $100B+ in 2025 and Maps ads help push the services narrative (especially as Apple slowly forced to reduce App Store fees).

Cool thing I noticed right now whilst driving in China: I use Amap for navigation (the Chinese equivalent of Google Maps or Waze), which itself uses Beidou as a satellite navigation system. And the thing is so precise it shows you on which lane you are on the highway!
