He bought a drone off the shelf Then made a thing to pilot it I do not have specifics, this was a 5 minute demo So probably not nearly as full fledged as you are imagining. Moreso calling drone pilot APIs

Programmed from scratch? This video is severely lacking in context. What firmware is the drone running? What ESC and Flight Controller? What RF protocol? What did AI even do here?
