A father screams for his child inside of a tiny interview room within a basement waiting room inside LA federal building. The space is not a holding area. No food. No water. No diapers. Those initially detained include a 2-year-old US citizen and a woman with high-risk pregnancy.

Lights automatically turned off at 5p. When daylight dimmed, people — incl children who were separated from parents — made do in darkness. Agents used flashlights. This space isn’t licensed to detain people on any capacity (lights turn off because no one is supposed to be there).

The agents doing this shit seem to think they are untouchable. Even if that is true today it won't be true forever. American values do not allow for this and the people will not soon forget this lawless behavior.

Oh well. They should have thought about that before they came here illegally. I blame the parents that got them into this situation. It’s been all over the news and radio they would be deported once Trump took office. Plenty of time to self-deport and save themselves the anguish.

Blame other people all you want, it comes down to the basic principles. Come here legally, or deport yourself and have the opportunity to come back. Nobody caused this but yourself.
