This woman was having a rough day and needed to indulge a little. So she reaches for her emergency chocolate syrup that she keeps in the car and gives it a shake to mix it up. 🔥🇺🇸 THIS IS MY NYC & MY AMERICA Kristin Marino lost her father Kenny Marino in WTC 1 on 9/11. She was 3 & her brother was 1. They had sat in the same firetruck Hell’s Kitchen FDNY Fire Rescue 1 that morning before it went downtown and was crushed. She got married and her father’s BROTHERHOOD was there to see her off from The Plaza Hotel and took the fire truck to Rockefeller Center where she was married with St. Patrick’s cathedral in the background. As a born & raised New Yorker this hits especially close because my best friends father Richard Miuccio also perished that day in WTC 2 right before retirement. I was there at his sister Laura’s wedding a few years later and not having her father there was painful. But her father’s Brother was an FDNY Battalion chief and he WALKED LAURA DOWN THE AISLE. For Mr. Miuccio’s funeral they had the casket on his Fire Company’s bed. THIS IS OUR NYC..this is the NYC we were raised in and want to preserve. Many of us touched and impacted by that day NEVER FORGET. Congratulations kcup
