A few days ago I've released a high quality music mod for MDK. I've replaced all the compressed tracks from the PC version with their high quality counterparts from the PS1 port. Not only that, I've bundled compatibility stuff and better controller support for modern systems.

Huh? Why does the PC version have the compressed audio tracks? You'd expect it to be the other way around or something.

Because MDK was optimized to run fast even on the lowest spec Pentium machine of the time, so sound quality was sacrificed.
