Tomorrow, in the early hours, at around 06-07:00 AM, Zubeen Garg will reach Guwahati Airport. The Air India flight from Singapore has departed and will land tonight at New Delhi. Tomorrow, first Zubeen Garg will be brought to his Kahilipara residence. Later, he will be taken to Sarusajai Stadium for public honour.

Today, at Zubeen Kshetra, I paid my tributes to Assam’s eternal heartthrob and reviewed the progress of the development work underway, an effort that will stand as a fitting tribute to his enduring legacy. I have always maintained that there should be no politics in the name of Zubeen. As promised, after the dust of the elections settled, I visited the site today purely as a tribute to someone who, for us, is evergreen - never a political issue, but an emotion that lives in every heart. #BelovedZubeen

Zubeen Garg’s last interview by renowned writer Rita Chowdhury. At 02:00 AM last night, I tuned in my soul that searched for answers. Outside my home, I heard a group of boys sing Zubeen’s songs. Their voice shattered. Why will it not? Zubeen loved the sea. He loved swimming. He never knew about its depth. And like that, we lost him to the depths of sea. Government should not underestimate the sentiments of the people. I hope, for a few people, they will not lose crores of them. Assam deserves to know what happened to Zubeen.
