Here’s my speech.. I really did not have anything planned because I didn’t think I had any chance in the world of winning. I was just happy to be there. Interesting enough I told a story that I think this is the first time I’ve ever felt comfortable talking about my experiences in Iraq and what changed my outlook on life. Not sure why I shared that.. I hadn’t planned to but it just came out.

This part breaks and heals my heart at the same time 💔Mingi’s words are full of wisdom, as always🥺 🐥 I was full of arrogance in the beginning, but after I made my debut, I felt so small. From then on, I lost a lot of my mental strength. As soon as I made my debut, I thought I was the best and I thought I was in first place. That’s why those aspirations, that tenacity, and that something about me - my self-worth - was so high. But after that, it was destroyed in an instant. 🐥 I lost a lot of my self-worth, and I started to feel like I was worth nothing. I started to doubt if there was any reason for me to be in this group. When I feel that kind of self-disgust, I think it’s important how I overcome those thoughts. In my early days of my debut, I think I only had a pretty packaging on me. I used to think, ‘I’m doing well, what more can I do?’ But after that pretty packaging came off, I had nothing inside. So I think it took me a long time to fill myself up. Now, even if I break down once in a while, I just go back to the human Song Mingi, and I look for the things I like one by one, and then I think, ‘People will like me a bit now, right?’ Since we’re celebrities, we need to satisfy the people to a certain degree. But I think we still have to satisfy ourselves in the process as well. I think I try to find a harmony between the two in my head. 🐥 It took me a long time to build this up, but I think the process of building myself up, unlike building a sand castle, you build it up little by little. So I feel like, internally, I have become more resilient, compare to before.

There was a day I went to one of the restaurants to eat, and I didn't go with security. Upon my arrival, I encountered over 50 people coming to greet me, and I didn't know what to do. Of course, I didn't feel safe; you can't interpret that as people liking you. I told the restaurant workers that I would come back, but at that point, I was no longer comfortable. As soon as I stepped outside, I saw some miscreants waiting for me to give them money. I also went to the city gate to sit down and met a few people. Once I returned to camp 2, my health took a dip - I seemed to pick up a chest infection, so the decision was made to get me back to Kathmandu for immediate treatment - not the way I wanted to leave the mountain or my team That being said, very few people get the opportunity to fly in a helicopter over the #Khumbu icefall - this really gives you the incredible scale of the icefall and #Everest Base Camp Thanks to everyone for your brilliant support - I didn’t bring home the bacon, and I am still processing the profound disappointment, but I am proud of our team and I am proud of the decisions I made on the mountain. I came back in (mostly) good health and I still have all of my fingers/toes 3/3

EUCERIN X SHOPEE WITH EMI #EucerinxEmi 🦊: It was my first time acting as twins. 🎤: Was it challenging? 🦊: I was very afraid. At first, I was afraid. I had to do a lot of workshops as the twins. After I figured out how to play each of the characters, when it was time for a scene change and I had to change the character I was playing, I jumped right into that character, but it was like I hadn't prepared my body for it, 🎤: The change was sudden, right? 🦊: It was going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. The first day I had to act as twins, I cried. During the lunch break, I didn't eat lunch. I told the team that I wanted to go sleep instead, and while lying there alone, all of a sudden my tears were flowing. I was in a messy state then. 🎤: You guys have to give her a lot of encouragement, okay? 🦊: It was like, why are my emotions swinging from one end to another so drastically? Later on I realised what I had to do. I had to approach it slowly. I had to slowly boost myself and get into character, not jump straight into character as soon as they said, "Action!"

Although injury and illness struck, yesterday I managed to climb the highest mountain in the UK This week, I planned on attempting the national 3 peaks challenge. Unfortunately during the decent of Ben Nevis, I popped something in my ankle and my knee which i injured years ago, started to fail. Alongside not being in a good mental state, I was advised to not go ahead with the other 2, with it just being virtually impossible with timing and for safety. Although I am gutted that I couldn’t do the peaks, It’s unbelievable to say that I have successfully climbed the highest mountain in the UK on my first ever attempt of climbing a mountain. With getting to the summit in under 5 hours. That alone, would never have been possible just a few months ago. Failure is such a strong word but equally not every challenge was made to be completed on the first attempt. A huge thank you to the lads who joined me for sticking alongside me and putting my safety first. Once recovered, we attempt it again after plenty of training ❤️

It was for my colleagues who I call home every day Shenandoah Downs, who got to see me do something I hope to do one day for NBC Sports. My first Derby call was a bit shaky and I couldn’t quite rattle off all 20 names by the first half mile but it was significant from the top 6 as a kid. Congratulations to Mystik Dan and Brian Hernandez on joining the long honored list Aristides and Oliver Lewis started 150 years ago! As I said in my sign off on the simulcast, 20 years ago, I had no idea what was going on until Smarty Jones captured the roses and began a long journey that led me to doing what I love!

As a kid, I've always dreamed to become a top TCG player and I finally decided to make that dream come true. Starting this series called Road to Regionals where my goal is to top 8 a regionals starting from basically scratch (I only started 2 months ago) and documenting my journey along the way. In the first episode, I talk about the process of how to become a better player and how Kuvi and Challenger TCG has been helping me get there. Been procrastinating on creating Riftbound but saw Diana DiMicco's tweet (to apply as a creator) was enough to kick me in the butt and finally upload my first YT vid. I don't even expect to be chosen since this is literally my first Riftbound video, but just happy I finally started.
