"A few tiles later".. rewrote the WFC algorithm, so now it has a good navigability heuristic and some other neat stuff. Maybe the next Bad North should take place in the forest, like this?

Walked past some Iran demonstration and they were saying “Trump act now, free Iran now” and later “regime change now” Crazy stuff. A few White Aussies in the crowd so unsure if many were even Iranian.

The condo gym is actually fairly decent and generally pretty empty- will still need to find a place to do Olympic lifts and other more athletic stuff- for the next few days while I get settled will just do some easier stuff

This is why the sunset was so red tonight. Wild fires in North Wales. Sad this, always hate seeing stuff like this. Makes it even worse when it’s started by a person and not natural. Which has been the case so many times before.

I think I’m close to a burn out. For the last few weeks it feels like I haven’t been able to think. Let alone do deep work. My brain just draws a blank. Super frustrating. Even thinking what tiles I should put into our new house feels like too much already. The first few weeks I tried to force myself to work anyway. Obviously made it even worse. So, this week I decided I’m just going to take a break. Go on hikes, drive my bike, read books and play video games. I had this before and eventually it would go away. Made me realise though that I should put guards into place for the next time. Building a team is part of this. Focus on what I like to do and get help with all other tasks. Implement some load balancing. Fingers crossed it goes away soon 🤞 /endtransparency

Really annoys me that Matt has his lights on in this scene. It’s such a small detail in the original show, but small stuff like that is what made it so special in the first place.

As well as how it looks and is animated, I absolutely love the sound design that goes into the tech in stuff like Ghost in the Shell or Patlabor. A lot of it is so great to listen to (As an aside the snipers in this scene have neat designs)

I expect the #Isles to call-up Victor Eklund over the next few days. I’ve seen enough, I think he’s ready for some big minutes too.
