What movie is it?.... Please

It’s true, this one was very tough for anybody who hadn’t read the book. If you knew the book, you knew this was coming, but otherwise it was a real gut punch. The movie made good money for its budget, but there was no book sequel and Disney was happy to move on. 🎬

I remember taking my 3 kids to these when they were little, I had no clue how freaking traumatizing it was or I would have never brought them… this movie was horribly sad…

I've never seen the film. I would have been 26 when it was released, but when I was in 5th grade, my class was required to read the book. Our teacher provided a copy for each of us to take home, and I still remember how hard I cried the night I got to that part of the book.

They marketed this like a cute adventure and then dropkicked our childhoods into traffic. Still not over it.

For my generation the book traumatized us way before the movie came out.

It didn't traumatized me or anyone I watched it with,it pissed me off,to think we thought is was a real thing only to end up being their imagination,definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen,it's in my top 3 worst movies of all time lol
