A final message from Skip. 👑

"See you all next season"... Maybe he will get the goodbye he deserves!

Until next time Mr Ipswich 💙

Ffs. Why you make me emotional on a Friday for. Best captain in my era. What a player, what a man. Legend of the club. Hope he can get to Portman Road this season for a lap of honour or something. We didn’t really get to give him the send off he deserved.

“See you all next season” 👀

The skipper could have done another season without a doubt. Who could deny him & his family a fabulous contract that will give him the income to see him through to his old age? Football is a short career unless coaching beckons. Go well skipper, once a blue always a blue 💙🤍

Good to know you remember our greatest triumph. Thanks for the memories Sam

Capt. legend, but we can’t just offer contracts which make no sense long-term. Incredible journey he was integral to, leading on and off the pitch. Wish him well. #itfc

Watching this at a bus stop in Edinburgh on my way to Aberdeen… I’ve got very tired eyes honest… gonna miss this guy. 💙🤍

I’ve never ever cried over a football player, but my fucking god im in tears. Sam Morsy you’re a legend. Thank you for everything Skip 💙

“couldn’t reach an agreement with the club”… why the fuck didn’t you offer him what he wanted

Oh my, you've got me again 😢 Such a shame a new deal couldn't have been worked out. A massive loss! Kuwait have gained a truly special player and man. Thanks for everything Samy and all the very best to you and your lovely family ♥️💙🚜

I’m not crying. You are.

All the best! Thank you 🙏 💙

What a player, the ultimate professional. Good luck in Kuwait Sam. They are lucky to have you.

Best of luck Skip, you’ve been nothing short of exceptional during your time at ITFC and deserve the plaudits you’ve received! Good luck at your new club!

You hope you’ve done a good job??? I’m 49 yrs old, would’ve shut the curtains if Town were playing in my back garden over the Mick, Lambert et al years, yet I’m sat watching this in the new shirt in part because of the part you played&the standards you brought. I wish you the best.
