This is exactly what the Bible prophesied. The Abomination of Desolation spoke of by the prophet Daniel and again mentioned by Yeshua in Matthew 24 (in the future) was the Muslim conquest. The Prophet Daniel said 1260 years after the Pagan Temple (Abomination of Desolation) is being built Israel will be free. The Al-Aqus Mosque construction began in 688AD and 1260 years later Israel became a nation in 1948. Israel became a nation in one day as foretold by the Prophet Isaiah, Chapter 66. This is evidence not coincidence.

Netanyahu is dismantling the democratic institutions of Israel and destroying Israeli society and economy. How can anyone who loves Israel believe anything Netanyahu says!

This is historically totally incorrect. The Romans expelled Jews from Jerusalem after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE and further during the Bar Kokhba Revolt (132–136 CE) (Goodman, 2008). When Muslim Arabs conquered Palestine in the 7th century, they allowed Jews to return (Gil, 1992). A similar pattern occurred during the Crusades: Christian forces massacred Jews, but after Salah al-Din (Saladin) recaptured Jerusalem in 1187, he permitted Jewish resettlement (Asbridge, 2010). Furthermore, during World War II, while much of Europe persecuted and murdered Jews in the Holocaust, some Palestinians and other Middle Eastern communities provided refuge (Segev, 2000). Prime Minister Netanyahu gets it wrong here he leaves out the whole history of Jihad. He leaves out the notion of dhmini status. He leaves out the fundamental Islamist roots to the rejection of the idea of Jews, being sovereign in their homeland.

And Jews still have the extra decency to bought the land from the Ottoman farmers that don't know how to farm!
