🇮🇷🇺🇸🇮🇱 A former Israeli Air Force commander explains why Iran is shooting down American jets... Iran completely rebuilt its air defense doctrine after the 12-day war. A former IAF commander told me "the days when flying over Iran was a walk in the park are over." Here's what changed:...

listen up and learn: We are flying between 300 to 500 sorties a day. The damage to the country is MASSIVE. To lose a couple of planes of the hundreds flying is expected. No one expected a 'walk in the park'. It is simply a matter of how much punishment Iran is willing to take when a deal is on the table. They cannot win, nor can they 'win by not losing', either.

Iran upgraded to decentralized 31-zone mosaic defense, mobile shoot-scoot SAMs (HQ-9B + Bavar-373), passive IR tracking. End of easy overflights; two US jets lost in one day shows adaptation works, raises costs for Hormuz ops.

They have adapted & adjusted tactics so quickly. Mentally Iran has been ready for the war.

🚨 So… about that “world’s most powerful military” 👀 An Iranian drone really woke up and said: “That Chinook looks expensive… let’s fix that.” 💥🚁 Now the CH-47 is out here doing a permanent landing in Kuwait 😭 Guess even billion-dollar machines forgot to install… anti-drone updates 🤖🤣

Then why has it taken a month to shoot down 2 planes??

The result: two American aircraft down in a single day after America has hit 11,000+ targets in Iran, destroyed the entire IRGC, navy, air force and command, etc. Such amazing defenses 🤔 Air dominance intact! 🇺🇸

Hi @grok After five weeks of U.S. air operations, Iran suddenly downing two jets in one day is this proof their post-12-day-war upgrades actually work, or just lucky shots/propaganda as some replies claim? Trump just purged multiple top U.S. generals and admirals. Does losing experienced leadership right when Iran’s defenses prove tougher make this riskier, or was it necessary to install people ready for the new reality? The former IAF commander’s warning hits hard. With passive infrared, mobile systems, and Chinese tech now in play, does this force the U.S. to rethink strategy on Iran (and the Strait of Hormuz)? Allies like France and UK are already calling military options “unrealistic” and pushing sanctions/diplomacy instead. Is Iran’s upgraded air defense making confrontation too costly, or does it prove Trump was right to act fast?

Two American planes shot, including a fifty year old A-10, and Mario is already whining about losing air dominance. Pure propaganda.

“A former Israeli Air Force commander explains why Iran is shooting down American jets...” Probably because the American jets are attacking them? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The 31 Iranian defense zones acting independently is called the Mosaic Defesne.

The biggest shift here isn’t just better tech, it’s decentralization. When every zone can act independently, you can’t cripple the system with one strike anymore. That changes the whole air war dynamic.

thousands of planes have been roaming their sky for over a month now every single day and after 15,000 bombardments they have only been able to take out 2 planes lol

Didn’t Trump say that Iran’s navy and all military power were all destroyed during the 1st few weeks of the war by the U.S and Israel military strikes? The U.S. needs to talk to Iran. TALK. Not Threaten. TALK. Iran has very powerful friends .

Horseshit! Plain and simple. 15,000+ air strikes, one plane down in enemy territory. This is such an unbelievable demonstration of complete Air Dominance that it is virtually F-35’s vs. cavemen throwing rocks, cave men yet to develop slings no less. The expectation that we would lose only one (or none) aircraft after even 15,000+ high intensity training missions is next to nil. It is virtually miraculous. The fact the Iranians may have got lucky with one manpad shot out of over 15,000 air strikes does not demonstrate any “superduper” Chinese Technology paired with Iranian “super missile capabilities”. It demonstrates dumb luck or normal mechanical attrition finally getting its due. The fact they could then maybe shoot down a slow moving helicopter on a rescue mission to a well known and very limited flight area speaks not to superiority of technology but rather to the vastly greater risk and exposure rescue missions entail. Your comment and the comment Mario Nawfal quotes is literally nothing but mindless propaganda. In simple terms it is a lie, it is a fiction, it is wishful thinking on the part of enemies of the USA, of enemies of civilization, of Iranian Terrorist Regime apologists.

The loss of two aircraft over the course of TWELVE THOUSAND combat sorties is now being paraded as proof of American defeat. By that standard, every air force in history has been routed several times over. The real story is not that losses occurred, but that people have forgotten they are inevitable in war.

When they shoot down Israeli jets, then I will believe the "ex-commander." Somebody wants escalation in Iran, knowing full well how Trump hates either any showing of weakness or death to US service members. Suddenly, when a suspicious video circulating of a US service member beheaded, and "masked" people screaming Allahu Akbar and dragging the body tied to a vehicle, then we will know that a nefarious plan has been hatched.

Don’t you just love it when a bot posts a ridiculous fabrication (the best ones use technical terms, army lingo & weapon system names & never fail to add ex-commander/professor/expert for good measure) and then the Marios & other useful idiots repost it? Go on - repost some more

The Gulf War lasted for 43 days and the coalition lost about 40 planes. Now the US lost one F15 and an A-10 Warthog that was involved in search and rescue low ass flying after 33 days with over 11,000 targets hit, then Iran suddenly has Chinese induced capabilities. Your support for Iranian regime is glaring. Just own up to it

Ditching over-reliance on older Russian tech and rebuilding smarter has paid off two US jets down in one day after weeks of claimed air dominance shows their lessons learned are working. The 'walk in the park' era is definitely over.

Iran’s air defenses just got a serious upgrade — decentralized zones, mobile shoot-and-scoot from tunnels, passive infrared tracking, plus solid Chinese and homegrown systems. No more easy flyovers. Respect the resilience 💪🇮🇷

So much misinformation 🤔 Israel and the US conducted tens of thousands of air strikes against Iran. The number of U.S. manned aircraft’s being destroyed is less than 10 This is air superiority by any measure. I think that the Israeli-US air strikes will intensify next week

🚨🇮🇷 IRAN’S DRONE HUNTERS: A NIGHTMARE FOR U.S. AND ISRAELI UAVs Even under constant U.S. and Israeli airstrikes, Iran still intercepts enemy drones. The reason lies in a set of mobile, radar-silent air defense systems that are far harder to detect and destroy: 🔸 Missile 358 – a loitering anti-drone interceptor operating in autonomous “free hunt” mode. Flying at ~0.6 Mach with up to 100 km range and 8.5 km interception altitude, it can patrol airspace and engage targets like MQ-9 Reaper or Hermes-900 UAVs. Radio correction can improve accuracy but risks exposing the control node to enemy electronic surveillance. 🔸 AD-08 Majid – a mobile short-range air defense system using optical and thermal sensors instead of radar. Its IR-guided missiles reach ~2 Mach, with 8 km range and 6 km altitude, making the system difficult to detect for aircraft relying on radar warning receivers. 🔸 Repurposed R-73 / R-27T missiles – infrared air-to-air missiles adapted for ground launch from mobile platforms equipped with thermal sights. Similar improvised systems have previously downed UAVs and even aircraft — including a Saudi F-15S shot down by the Houthis in 2018. Unlike radar-based systems that can be quickly targeted by anti-radiation missiles, these mobile defenses are harder to detect and eliminate, allowing Iran to keep enemy UAV operations under constant pressure. Do you think radar-silent air defenses could really help Iran counter Western drones and aircraft?

🚨Breaking News… history just changed over Tehran in EPIC AIR BATTLE. Today, March 4, 2026, the sky over Iran witnessed something that had never happened before in the history of modern air combat. An Israeli F-35I “Adir” stealth fighter engaged and destroyed an Iranian Air Force Yakovlev Yak-130. The aircraft was completely eliminated in an air-to-air engagement over Tehran. This was not a drone strike. Not a missile launched from the ground. Not a proxy operation. This was a manned stealth fighter eliminating another aircraft in the skies over Iran. And it marks a historic milestone. This engagement is now being reported as the first confirmed air-to-air kill ever achieved by the F-35 platform anywhere in the world. Let that sink in for a moment. The most advanced fighter jet ever deployed in combat… designed with stealth geometry, sensor fusion, and battlefield awareness beyond anything that came before it… has now officially recorded its first aerial victory. The Iranian aircraft destroyed was a Yakovlev Yak-130, a Russian-built advanced trainer and light attack jet used by the Iranian Air Force. This also represents something else historically significant. It is the first Israeli manned air-to-air combat engagement in roughly four decades. Forty years. For decades Israeli pilots have dominated the skies through deterrence, technology, and overwhelming air superiority. But today that dominance translated into direct aerial combat once again. The Israel Defense Forces have officially confirmed the engagement. Multiple defense outlets and international military analysts are already reporting the event. This moment will likely be studied in military academies around the world for years to come. The first air-to-air victory of the American F-35 era. A stealth fighter engaging in real combat… and winning. History just unfolded over Tehran. #SilentMajoritySpeaks #AStoneGroove

🚨WATCH THIS NOW OR BOOKMARK IT IMMEDIATELY⚠️ This video is a reminder of something many Americans still underestimate… The enemy we are facing is not a band of cave fighters with spears and rocks. What you are looking at here is Iran’s 3rd Khordad mobile surface-to-air missile system… a truck-mounted air defense platform designed to detect, track, and destroy aircraft, drones, and cruise missiles at distances that can reach well over 100 km depending on the missile configuration. This system was developed specifically to counter modern Western air power. And it has already proven it can do damage… it was the same class of Iranian air defense system that shot down a U.S. surveillance drone in 2019. Iran has spent decades building a layered military apparatus. Mobile missile launchers Underground missile cities Long-range ballistic weapons Drone swarms Integrated air defense systems like this one And they are not doing it alone. Russia has transferred radar technology and missile engineering experience. China has provided electronics, sensors, and industrial manufacturing capability. That means the battlefield we are dealing with is not primitive… it is a hybrid military ecosystem built by three industrial powers. That matters. 🚨Because arrogance in war gets people killed. When Americans see footage like this, it should not produce panic… but it should produce respect for the complexity of the threat. These systems are designed to challenge the most advanced air force in the world. And there is another reality most people don’t like to talk about. The battlefield is not always overseas. Iran’s strategy has long included sleeper networks and proxy infrastructure outside the Middle East… cells that can be activated for sabotage, intelligence gathering, or disruption if a full regional war erupts. War in the 21st century is not just missiles and jets. It is intelligence networks industrial supply chains cyber warfare and influence operations inside rival nations. So when you see footage like this Iranian system rolling across the desert… understand what it represents. A state that has spent decades preparing for confrontation with the United States and Israel. Never underestimate your adversary. History shows that arrogance in war is one of the fastest paths to disaster. #SilentMajoritySpeaks #AStoneGroove
