She was found on April 30, 2026, on the side of the road in extremely poor condition after suffering torture and assault. She was transferred to Homs Central Hospital, at which point General Security arrested her and moved her to Al-Waar Police Station, and then to Homs Central Prison. Following several days of public outcry on social media, the girl was released this evening.
