Lindsey Graham wants to send US Marines to invade Kharg Island. A British General calls it a foolish gamble, reminding everyone that 26000 troops died in Iwo Jima. The US military is treating soldiers like expendable chess pieces.

“[It’s] a suicide mission for U.S. Marines… Believe it or not, Kharg Island is the exact same size as Iwo Jima… We had 70,000 Marines and we took 27,000 casualties. So these people that talk about ground operations—THEY’RE INSANE.” Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson says a ground invasion of Iran would include U.S. soldier casualties in the tens of thousands—losses that are unacceptable to the American people. Lindsey Graham "We did Iwo Jima, we could do this [Take Iran's Kharg Island]" This childless geriatric clown wants your children to die for Israel on an island that's even more dangerous than Iwo Jima. On Iwo Jima, the US marines wasn't in range of enemy artillery. But on Kharg Island, the US marines will be totally exposed to Iranian drones and missiles. The whole taking Kharg Island thing, sounds like a workable strategy; Take control of 90% of Iran's oil export. After taking control, the US can export it and ensure oil market stability. HOWEVER: 🔹Kharg island is INSIDE the Persian Gulf, even if the US took control of the oil storage facilities, they still need to sail it through the Strait of Hormuz. 🔹More importantly, Kharg island is only the location where Iranian oil are stored and shipped, it's NOT where it is drilled or refined. Why would Iran give refined oil to the Americans? So the key objectives of taking Kharg Island, ie taking the oil then export it to stabilize the market can't happen. And if your take that objective away, you can just bomb Kharg island without boots on the ground. But AGAIN, that would wreck havoc on the oil market, somethin the US, especially American allies cannot afford. This is why the Trump regime is full of amateurs who can't see past their noses.

Today in 1945, a 500-ship U.S. Navy armada opens fire on the Japanese island of Iwo Jima. The bombardment, which precedes amphibious landings by 30,000 Marines, lasts for three days straight. Nearly 20,000 defenders are dug in on the five-mile-long island.

U.S. Marines Storm Iwo Jima: The First Wave 🇺🇸🇯🇵 On February 19, 1945, U.S. Marines landed on the volcanic shores of Iwo Jima during the opening assault of one of the fiercest battles of the Pacific War. Supported by heavy naval bombardment, waves of landing craft carried Marines onto the island's black sand beaches, where they struggled up the island's steep volcanic ridges as the battle began to unfold. The first wave marked the beginning of a brutal five-week battle that would become one of the bloodiest campaigns of the Pacific Theater.

Trump is sending a very sensitive message to Iran! A US plane is seen flying at a very low altitude over the Kharg Island without any interruption from Iranian forces. If Trump's Forces can easily manoeuvre over the Kharg Island at such extreme low altitude, Then capturing the island gonna likely be a walk in the park for the US marines.
