A framed cassette player.

Yeah like $400 for it to live in the most basic frame. Looked these up couple months ago or so. This deserves so much better. But you know the upcharge for nostalgia beats quality

Wait a damn minute… this is really nice. I would never put that glass back on because it hinders ease of functionality, but as an art piece, it definitely works. #bringbacktangiblemedia

This is so beautiful

Why is it playing backward?

SICKKKKK

@LeahRebeccaUK

What a waste of a walkman, at this point get a deck or a portable boom box. You don’t have the kill a slim ex walkman for it to be put in the most boring frame.

I think that is really neat.

Put the link to buy it !! Please 🫶

I’d hit rewind every time I walked past it, purely for the click 📼

Okay, so this is a "newer" cassette deck with a reversible tape head. I was confused, because only the playback direction you show in the last 10 seconds (during "Money for Nothing") is the traditional direction from the early days of cassette decks.

how do you change the cassette? break the glass?

I need this in all black, with a touch of purple and gold

@ObsoleteSony

it not playing 'man who sold the world' is such a shame
