Lottie was one of the first dogs I took in. A little street puppy who had been dumped without a mother. It took 7 months but she’s the 3rd dog I’ve managed to get to Europe and the first to England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 I find it hard to process her running around looking so happy 🥰🥰🥰

Dog park drama is real and this one escalated fast - a man took his dogs to the park at 8am for what should have been a normal morning and ended up in the middle of a full blown confrontation. She claims his dog bit her dog, he says she kicked his dog, and now the whole thing is on video for the internet to decide. Dog parks are one of those places where tensions can go from zero to a hundred in seconds because people treat their animals like family and the moment another dog gets involved the emotions take over completely. The reality is dogs play rough sometimes, bites happen, and not every altercation means somebody’s animal is vicious - but the moment a human puts their foot on someone else’s dog the conversation changes entirely. No dogs were harmed but that kick she threw was something else. Has something like this ever happened to you at a dog park or have you witnessed an altercation between owners?

This animal control officer received a call that a dog attacked a child and tried to attack a second one. So the officer and his supervisor showed up. The plan was for the supervisor to tranquillize the dog and the officer would chase it. They showed up, found the dog, and the supervisor hit him with a tranquilizer and then the dog took off running and the chase was on. As you can see it was a very long chase but the officer kept pace (apparently he runs marathons) until the tranquilizer kicked in and the dog stopped and laid down. A tranquilizer can take up to 30 minutes and sometimes they require multiple doses depending on the dog. He said the dog looks to be a red golden/chow mix. He said the child had to get a couple of stitches but was going to be fine. The dog was quarantined and will be euthanized when the quarantine is over. I’m glad the child was alright. And I’m glad the officer was compassionate with the dog. Did you know it took that long for a tranquilizer to kick in? (I didn’t). Do you think if a dog attacks a person it should be an automatic euthanization?

This woman booked a flight in a plane. She never remembered agreeing to the responsibilities of being in an emergency row, but when she was called to check in, they had informed her she was. The employee kept asking her over and over as if she was publicly shaming her for refusing to take on that responsibility. The woman feels she’s not trained nor is she qualified to be responsible for saving others.
