Incredible to play this game at 1920x1440 Maybe the AI is tough to race wheel to wheel, but they pass other cars, pit correctly, run consistent laps, have realistic failures, have unique personalities, push and conserve All these years later its still some of the best!

I imagine you could definitely get the DOS version running atleast (if there is a way to do dos games on the steam deck) With the smaller screen on there its probably all you would need anyway!

I loved this game 20+ years ago. I remember starting dead last at Michigan and picking my way past everyone. I took the white flag with a huge lead and proceeded to spin and slam the wall in turn 2. I’m still pissed about it

That was a great game. My cousin had it whilst I had Geoff Crammond’s Grand Prix and we’d spend so much time on them when we visited each other houses. A.I. always seemed much better then in opponents cars, as you said, they seemed to have more personality - TOCA’s AI was brutal
