Usually once a month I allow myself to work on something experimental and fun even though it's not important for the current stage of the project. Since I haven't had time for these "developer fun days" for a while, I decided that today would be one of these. Here's some experimental terrain stuff that I did today: - Parallax mapping / depth gradients - Parallax self shadows Pretty "old school" tech by modern standards but visually quite stable and relatively cheap for rendering.

I think I recently realized I was a hypocrite for complaining about censorship but was also self-censoring. I posted this clip from my podcast making fun of Tim walz going to China (over?) 30 times (feel free to drop a link to correcting me if I’m wrong) and got crushed for even asking questions about it. I got scared I was spreading misinformation so took it down. I’m a comic and it’s our job to hold the line. Female comics are never gonna be universally beloved so there’s no point in even trying

Yes, that's why I can't do the first rides that the members ride. Yeah, so the first ride the members went on, I actually can’t rly do it. But as soon as I got there, all the members told me that I probably rly liked the first ride, and they were saying it was a shame that I couldn’t ride it. But the rides after [their first ride] were so fun. And the staff at the amusement park is also so kind, they did like “I love you~ Wo ai ni~” Yeah, it's so fun. You’ll probably know the exact details later. Yeah, we just went on a lot of different rides. It was so fun!

Happy Final Space Friday Going to keep this update light since I pretty much updated where we're at on Wednesday. Seth and I are just putting together the pages for the Black and White version and good lord! It's a lot. We're about half way through that. I attached some pages that I actually hadn't seem with the zap pass and I was pretty blown away by how Joe made everything pop. It feel very cinematic which I'm loving! Really pumped to have him on this project. And then I added a new scored song for the novel soundtrack by Andrew Goodwin enjoy! -Olan PRE-ORDER:

So yeah, this was the biggest project I have ever worked on and is by far my best work yet, not only the animation but also the lighting has improved SOOO much it's almost unbelievable haha. 🔗: my duet with 🎭. i was looking through like- god i gotta find a cute duet song and i was looking and looking for ages, and then i found this song and i was like "oh shit, this is so cute and we can get little paper cups telephone as a prop in the song" so we went with that 🔗: we cant just do nothing while out here with the phones so we came up with these goofy dance moves, we just going back and forth with the hands up and down 🔗: 🎭 was perfect for that song. oh my god. his voice is so genki, energetic and cute i guess its really good for that song 🔗: yeah~ that was a fun time
