I saw these once. 300' down, so couldn't stay long. They had all ducked under the sand when I arrived, but sitting there quietly they re-appeared. Then I made the mistake of reaching for my camera ... my dive computer told me I had to leave, if, that is, I wanted enough air to do the decompression stops on the way up.

@Balelt41 As a diver you have to be very quiet and careful. Anything too loud and they disappear abruptly into the ground. There's nothing scary about it, it's beautiful. You usually come from above.
