A good lesson

As an ex-college professor, I can say sadly that there is no more critical thought. There is a lot of protest though - but it's from being indoctrinated into believing there is only one right and one wrong, and the student's feelings are always right. Criticism is not critique.

A very good lesson and it seems that once upon a time Colleges taught this. What we see now is group think nobody wants to search for Truth and criticize you if you don’t go along even though they see the violence it causes.

@TaniaLe84494434 23 yrs ago my son started school. His reception teacher said he was "challenging" - not in behaviour, but in questioning. I replied "isnt that a good thing?" I always explained to him the reason for doing things. He is now a woke teacher. They broke him ☹

Critical thinking is exactly what is not being taught in our schools and universities.

I've paid dearly for speaking up, even when I wasn't affected. Should have stayed quiet. But then I would have lost my identity.

I’ve experienced in some classes that if you challenge the prof-you become the target and your grade goes down. Many the student has learned to keep your head down and don’t rock the boat, or you’ll be next. This type of bullying shouldn’t be happening in higher levels of educatn
