A good time to repost this gem

Funny thing is, this didn’t originate from Timon and Pumbaa, it was a short made for Tom and Huck. The wiki says it was made for Timon and Pumbaa, but that never really seemed right to me cuz it was animated in widescreen. Even on TV rips, you can see the aspect ration is 16:9

They couldn't put it in front of a movie people wanted to see?

@RyukiRider98 I remember getting dragged to that movie. This is the only part of it I remember.

@JoshuaTookes I actually liked it as a kid

Me hearing the frogs at the end the first time as a kid:

I talked about "Stand by Me" in a recent video; along with "A Goofy Movie" from the same year, this is a great example of what Walt Disney Animation Australia is capable of.

I remember this being on a Video called "Around the world with Timon and Pumbaa" ah childhood

@aigikoto I have one thing to say after watching this

I was only 7 when this came out, but I sang it all the time. So many great songs back then.

poor pumbaa XD that frog was hitting that not though

This was actually my first introduction to the song, “Stand By Me,” an absolute masterpiece of a song cover!

I'm still remembering the "Yummy yummy yummy" one. Which you can watch it on YT.(At 1.5x and 2x spees it makes it interesting.) But still good.

This is a classic

Wait that was Kevin Schoen!? I thought it was Quintin Flynn this whole time 🤣 Damn Kevin got pipes 👏👏👏

If you have Disney Sing Along Songs Topsy Turvy for VHS you see this song after the song, You've got a friend in me. Or if you have A Kid in King Arthur's Court, You'll see the song on the opening previews. If not, that's ok. you can see this here.

It’s weird seeing a human in the Lion King universe

I’d watch this all the time before The Big Green on my VHS.

Yep it is the FT Depot upload

A song that should be in Larrikins, if it hopefully gets revived.

God damn this brings me back

This was my first exposure to this classic song.

Holy shit, this is a classic! I haven't seen this short in ages!

I Remember In Class We Were Watching This In Fast Forward Because The Teacher Wanted To Skip To The Movie And I Couldn’t Stop Laughing At Seeing Pumbaa Suffering So Much In So Little Seconds 😂

Gets better every time I watch it.

This version is slightly different to the one that was on the Best Of Roger Rabbit vhs

Memory unlocked

Pumbaa getting hurt a bunch toward the end fileted me as a kid 😂

I remember this being on a Lion King VHS at the end of the credits.

I swear I heard this but in Spanish

This unlocked a core memory

This was on a VHS tape I had of Roger Rabbit shorts
