Machine Head is one of my first albums in my collection in the early 70's and Smoke on the Water was my favorite track. What's even more interesting is the song's lyrics. It's about the events that occurred in Montreau, Switzerland while recording the album.

Another great song from my high school yrs. We had the best music.

I had Smoke On The Water 45 rpm record when it came out.
