A guy was paying $200/mo for Claude Max. His subscription burned through in 3 hours of work. He bought a base Mac Mini for $599. Installed 5 local models on it. One command. One flag. His office neighbors thought he was mining crypto. He just taught the machine to...

A 17 year old high schooler told his mom he needed a Steam Deck for school. She said no, it's a gaming console. He said it runs Linux. She didn't know what that means. Bought it for his birthday. $280. He never installed a single game on it. Opened the terminal, installed Claude Code and typed his first command while holding the device like a PlayStation controller. Thumbsticks on both sides. Code editor in the middle. The most ridiculous dev setup anyone has ever seen. At second 0:09 you can read what he typed into the terminal: claude your code looks like absolute shit Claude didn't argue. Just started rewriting the shader, adding bloom effects, fixing chromatic aberration and improving the particle system. On a gaming console held in two hands on a couch. His friends play Fortnite on their Steam Decks. He builds software on his while lying in bed. He set up Claude Code with custom skills, hooks that auto run tests every time a file is saved and memory that remembers every project across sessions. The stuff most developers pay $200 a month for and use at maybe 20% capacity. He runs it on a $280 handheld and squeezes out every feature. Within three weeks he had built and sold four small apps to local businesses. A booking page for a barber shop, an inventory tracker for a vape store, a menu site for a taco truck and a scheduling tool for a dog groomer. All built on a Steam Deck in his bedroom. All coded by Claude while he gave instructions with his thumbs. Made over $13,000 in his first month. His mom still thinks he plays games on it. His teacher caught him using it during study hall. Looked at the screen expecting a game. Saw green code scrolling and Claude asking: Do you want to make this edit to main.js ? Teacher had no idea what she was looking at. Told him to put it away. He closed the lid. Claude kept running inside. A $280 gaming console that his mom bought thinking it was a toy is now a development workstation that earns more per month than her car payment. Setup time: 20 minutes once. Time he saves every day: 3 to 5 hours. Money made in month one: $13,000. Games installed: zero. His grandpa asked him to install FIFA last weekend. He said the console is busy. Grandpa asked doing what. He said working. Grandpa didn't ask again.

sometimes i think abt how hardworking and disciplined minho has been for all his life .. he volunteered at elderly homes, he took on multiple jobs while also studying to afford dance classes, he lived alone at a young age, he donated to sponsor children, he gave what he could to others even when he didn’t have much himself.. he took in stray kitties without hesitation and without even asking his mom first, just cus of how kind his heart is… </3 and even while he was working towards his dream he put others before himself along the way.. he never head it easy, he was never given anything for free… he always had to work hard for it and he never complained he got eliminated on the survival show for the sole reason of using his pain for engagement. he walked home in the rain cus he felt like he didn’t deserve a taxi. they broke him and disrespected him and he still showed up the next day to keep going and give everything he has. his dedication and commitment is insane ;; it honestly makes me so emotional… i feel sad thinking abt everything he went thru but at the same time i know this was always his dream. i don’t care abt streams or charts at all but seeing where the group is now just gives me so much relief. it means all his effort and hard work wasn’t for nothing :( i’m just rly proud for him… i’m so glad he got to achieve what he worked so hard for. today he’s able to buy the prettiest toys and treats for his kitties, able to spoil his family, able to casually buy a gucci bag for his dads bday… his face is on the biggest screens, everyone knows him. he must feel so accomplished </3 u came so far. i’m so so so proud of u minho. u deserve everything u have and so much more

🇨🇳🇮🇶 This is Ahmed Mohammed Jaber Alkalthoom, a 30-year-old from Iraq. The US invasion of Iraq in 2003 turned this child from a wealthy family into a displaced refugee. He left his homeland and went to Syria. He was only 9 years old that year. During the war, one of Alkalthoom’s eardrums was ruptured, leaving him with hearing in just one ear. Nine years later, conflict erupted in Syria as well. In the midst of the Syrian war, Alkalthoom not only endured emotional trauma but also suffered physical injuries. While out buying food one day, he was caught in crossfire and was shot. Afterward, Alkalthoom moved between Lebanon and Egypt before finally arriving in Ningxia, China. There, he began learning Chinese and adopted the name “Wang Lixuan.” The people of China were very kind to him, and he became one of the most popular food bloggers on Chinese social media, affectionately nicknamed “Iraqi Lao Wang.” Lao Wang said that when he first arrived in China, he would get startled whenever someone honked their car horn. On his first day, he fell into deep despair because he thought he heard “gunfire” and saw “troops gathering.” However, he quickly realized he had misunderstood. People around him explained that it wasn’t a military operation but students participating in military training exercises. During the 2024 Spring Festival, while recording food videos in Henan, he was eating at a barbecue stall when the sudden sound of firecrackers frightened him. For a few seconds, his eyes were filled with fear. “I thought it was the sound of a bomb exploding.” Once he realized he was safe, he let out a bitter smile, shook his head, and continued eating. Lao Wang says that so far, he has learned to write three Chinese characters: “爱” (love) and “和平” (peace).
