【Photo: Thai Silk costume in natural light】 Fun fact about my Balalaika cosplay. I chose 100% Thai Silk for her suit — not official, but my own interpretation of the character. When I lived in Thailand, I fell in love with the deep sheen and texture of Thai Silk. It’s a fabric traditionally used for ceremonial clothing, high-rank officials, weddings, and special occasions. The elegance and authority perfectly matched Balalaika in my mind. Here are the details of the suit in natural light. Thai Silk changes its expression depending on the angle — it’s truly beautiful. 🇹🇭✨ Creating costumes with cultural respect and storytelling is one of my favorite parts of cosplay. Thank you for all the kind messages from Thailand. I’m honored that my interpretation resonates with you.
