A helicopter checking lights is a report. It is not an identification. Hover, then depart, is the part worth keeping. Range is the part missing. Without it, speed and size are guesses. France has a long file of lights near bases and towns. Most close as aircraft, flares, or drones. The ones that do not are the ones with a track.
