Prateek Bhardwaj, a Biotechnology student from the School of Biotechnology, JNU was allegedly ambushed inside the School of Social Sciences premises by Leftist goons. The RSS has the second highest number of shakhas in Kerala for the last 40 years, and yet if they cannot even win a single corporation, it is ridiculous. In 2016, the BJP had 1 MLA, but in 2021 they were reduced to zero. They won Thrissur in 2024, but completely collapsed there in the local body elections. Christians voted for them, but BJP leaders and right wing fringe groups like the VHP and Bajrang Dal went on to vandalise Christmas celebrations, and even a blind woman was attacked in Madhya Pradesh on false charges of conversion. This is Kerala. People here will not tolerate such hatred and hypocrisy.

Israeli Couple Humiliated in Kerala: Kashmiri Shop Owner Forced to Apologise An Israeli couple was insulted by a Kashmiri shop owner yesterday in Thekkady, in the Idukki district of Kerala. The couple were visiting the area and stepped into the particular shop owned by the Kashmiri. On hearing that the couple were from Israel, the shop owner refused to sell anything from his shop and asked them to leave. After the couple recounted their ordeal to their auto driver, Siddharthan, he and other shop owners nearby intervened. In the video, the Israeli man can be heard telling Siddharthan that the shop owner told his wife that she cannot enter because she is an Israeli. The man finally warned the Kashmiri that if it happens again, he will complain to the authorities and ensure that his shop is shut down. Finally, the shop owner apologized to the couple. What struck me most in this video is the Israeli man's words to the Kashmiri: 'This is not the Indian way to treat others'. According to reports, the IB and RAW are looking into the details of the incident. It is now coming to light that the same Kashmiri man was involved in another controversy during the CAA protests. In any case, his shop has been shut down for now. Kerala authorities must urgently look into the background of those who are coming into the state for business and employment! Incidents like this can irreparably harm the state's tourism sector in today's digital age. Our tradition teaches us to treat even enemies with respect when they're guests. In this case, this couple is from Israel, a nation that enjoys a special bond with India. I hope the authorities ensure that this shop owner is punished for his behavior.

It’s — it’s been crazier, to be honest with you, because the hundreds of millions of people back here in the United States, like, we felt the support. Whether you liked hockey or not, it united everybody and cheered for one team. And it was most special team to ever be part of and it meant the world for me to be on this team and it meant the world for me to represent this country and I don’t know if I’ll ever have an experience that will replicate the last few weeks and what this has meant to — I mean, our lives have changed forever to be completely honest. Even being over here in the U.S. for two days, it’s been absolutely insane and it’s hard for me to wrap my head around, but the impact this has had on Americans across the country, it’s the most special thing you could ever imagine.”

Members of the Somali community, someone here has shared some very wise words. You should not allow yourselves to be seen (and used) as the community pivoting the corrupt Kenya Kwanza government. In as much as oligarchs in your community are profiting from the ills of this regime, the independent ones amongst you must seek to distance their gains as if it’s a regional benefit. This man even his own community has abandoned him. Don’t be misused or appear like you’ve adopted a war-criminal. Otherwise that label will haunt you for days, breeding animosity.

IOBM student body unites to demand justice for a fellow female student who was reportedly expelled for complaining about alleged harassment she faced as the University responded by accusing her of being disrespectful to the staff. Universities in Pakistan for most part believe that students can be isolated, picked out and bullied and as there are no student unions who would care. However, the IOBM student body proved the administration wrong which as per reports has now led to firing of the transport staff member against whom the student had originally complained. It has also been reported that the University is now reconsidering the expulsion of the Student. The student must be reinstated at the earliest and inquiry should be launched against her hasty expulsion and allegations of harassment. This is not the first time a University has decided to act against alleged victims and whistleblowers. In 2021 a male student was expelled by IBA for publicly reporting the harassment of a female staff member by senior male staff members. The expulsion led to student protests resulting in the reinstatement of the whistle blower following my committee inquiries which found the male staff members guilty of harassment. Instead of knee jerk reactions to first complaints and then retreating under protest Universities must ensure proper mechanisms and transparency giving confidence to students to come forward instead of putting them under fear or coercive actions against them. The inquiries will not only embolden students but would also give fair hearing to those accused of harassment. Unfortunately even the premier institutes who claim to have comprehensive anti harassment policies in place fail to implement the same when the need arises and even try to rig inquiry committees or create hurdles for them. In 2014 when a professor at LUMs was accused of sexual harassment the first reaction of the administration and fellow faculty was to rush his defence and the LUMS inquiry committee also exonerated him and it was only later before the Ombudsman that the professor was found guilty resulting in the professor getting fired. Whether it is incidents of harassment, lack of facilities on campus, lack of maintenance of amenities and transport, issues of examination and other disciplinary measures the conduct of university administrations repeatedly remind us of the need for actual functioning Students Unions and Student representation within the university's governing bodies.

GEN-Z OF KASHMIRI MUSLIMS & PAKISTAN'S MISERABLE LOSS AGAINST INDIA IN T-20 WORLD CUP: Social media of India's Kashmir Valley is full of comic short videos & reels, wherein Gen-Z of Kashmiri Muslims, who have come of age after 2019 are mocking Pakistani cricket team for their consistent miserable and pathetic performance against India in international cricket cups. NOT ONLY THIS, but most importantly they are expressing their open love and support for Indian cricket team and Indian cricket players. The attached video is that of a very popular Kashmiri Muslim Vlogger, who goes by the name "the Madhan". The video is in Koshur (Kashmiri) language, wherein he is mocking Pakistani cricket team on its loss against India in T-20 WORLD CUP qualifying match held a few days back in R. Premadasa stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He even spits on the Pakistani cricket team and curses it throughout the comic video. But, most importantly, he mentions in Koshur language in this video that, we (Kashmiri Muslims) shouldn't care about the Pakistani team as we have our beloved Indian cricket team. It is important to add that GEN Z of Kashmiri Muslims, who have grown up in post 2019 Kashmir by and large do not think like their elder brothers & sisters (Burhan Wani generation) or their father & grand father’s generation of Kashmiri Muslims ( Kashmirs aged 50 and above). My father’s and grandfather’s generation of Kashmiris had created a self styled utopian image of Pakistan as a "pure Islamic" country full of affluence, where streets were made of gold and rivers of honey were flowing. My father's and grandfather’s generation dehumanized India as a "lowly" country of Hindu infidels. A lot of them still carry this extreme Hinduphobic mindset. This mindset brainwashed an entire generation of Kashmiri Muslims in supporting Pakistan in cricket matches, not out of sportsman spirit but for shared religious affiliation and hatred for Hindu community. ALL OF THAT CAREFULLY CRAFTED NARRATIVE HAS COLLAPSED IN POST 2019 KASHMIR. My father’s and my grand father’s generation of Kashmiris who pushed Kashmir into vortex of hell by playing into hands of Pakistani Punjabi Muslim handlers of ISI Pakistani Army will eventually go in their graves carrying their extreme hatred for Hindus and India, but the GEN-Z of Indian Kashmiri kids will pave way for an integrated Kashmir. NOT ONLY THIS, but most importantly they are expressing their open love and support for Indian cricket team and Indian cricket players. The attached video is that of a very popular Kashmiri Muslim Vlogger, who goes by the name "the Madhan". The video is in Koshur (Kashmiri) language, wherein he is mocking Pakistani cricket team on its loss against India in T-20 WORLD CUP qualifying match held a few days back in R. Premadasa stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He even spits on the Pakistani cricket team and curses it throughout the comic video. But, most importantly, he mentions in Koshur language in this video that, we (Kashmiri Muslims) shouldn't care about the Pakistani team as we have our beloved Indian cricket team. It is important to add that GEN Z of Kashmiri Muslims, who have grown up in post 2019 Kashmir by and large do not think like their elder brothers & sisters (Burhan Wani generation) or their father & grand father’s generation of Kashmiri Muslims ( Kashmirs aged 50 and above). My father’s and grandfather’s generation of Kashmiris had created a self styled utopian image of Pakistan as a "pure Islamic" country full of affluence, where streets were made of gold and rivers of honey were flowing.
