A Kenyan driver has exposed a motorist allegedly working in collaboration with police. The motorist reportedly slows down near a yellow line, forcing other drivers to overtake illegally, only for police officers waiting nearby to stop and penalize them.

At Samburu, on Mombasa Nairobi road the same game is being played. The trucks carrying stones out from quarry are slow and dangerous to be behind. As soon as you overtake on a yellow line, its trouble.

When you pass the Gilgil junction coming from Nairobi there's an uphill with a continuous yellow line followed by a climbing lane. A bike traffic cop waits for u to overtake then intercepts you just at the beginning of the climbing lane. Victims ni wengi

This is illegal and dangerous, first it's entrapment, secondly it was always deduced that traffic officers were the number one cause of road accidents due to tactics that they use for enforcement. I can only imagine the fool does this on a hill , that is a recipe for a disaster.

Happened to me sometime back hapo overpass ya chavakali. Kwa overpass ni 50kph halafu jamaa anaenda 45kph ndio umuovertake.
