As soon as the INEC ballot papers arrive at every polling units, voters should compel the INEC ad-hoc staff to count the ballot papers, because we have to be sure of the number of ballots at each polling station. Party agents at Ejigbo LGA, Osun State, insisted on ballot counting before voting began during the last election. This is exactly what we must do in 2027.

Citizens formed human chains to defend the ballot boxes, leading to a standoff that lasted more than 35 hours. On the morning of June 5, approximately 1,000 police officers were deployed to the Jamsil polling station. In the midst of the intense situation, a 21-year-old man who was protecting the ballot box collapsed and had to be rushed to the hospital in a coma by ambulance. This video shows the moment police tried to open the entrance by removing citizens who were blocking it. The ballot boxes were eventually removed, but the protests didn’t end. Citizens moved to the counting centers, where they continue to demand a new election.

This man was waiting for the worker to fill the Amazon pickup station when he notice she was also on the phone, he the began to record and yell at her for not doing her job when you can literally see her still working. I don’t think this gentleman knows how their job works, they use phones for support or to scan items as well. As long as she was still doing her job, does it matter if she was on the phone?

The locals rose up, and refused to release the cast ballots until everyone was given their chance to vote. (I spoke at the large rally/demostration/blockade held there last evening.) This morning, the police arrived, penetrated the crowd, and retrieved the TWO ballot barrels. A short while later, FOUR ballot barrels were delivered to the central counting facility. Nothing to see here, folks. Move along... A 21yr old man was injured during the extraction, and is now in a coma.
