25 years ago when we lost Dale Earnhardt, it was just days after FOX: NASCAR had spent time with many of the drivers to capture the creative visual images for the race broadcasts. The shoot was in a hanger at the airport next to Daytona International Speedway and Earnhardt was a key figure in making the first "hanger shoot" successful. These shoots have become a pre-season tradition for the industry. We wento to this year's hanger shoot and talked to a cinematographer who was on that shoot about his memories of Earnhardt making that shoot so special.

But besides delighting in the purity of the singular image photographs can also act like an alphabet of meanings when seen in relationships with other photographs. For me, this asset has been the secret thrill of the medium. I have always loved the way images can sit next to each other and give off sparks of fresh associations through sequencing. These pairings and runs of images produce a rhythm between them that brings to my mind what I call the 'third voice.' And what is The Third Voice? It is recognizing the fresh sensations that occur when a sequence of unrelated images produces a quickening sense of new meaning which isn't in any of the photographs on their own but is the product of their being seen together. Sequels is the outcome of many years of playing this 'game of seeing.' My hope is that it brings to all of you who see these images a new and playful sense of the range of photography's ability to make unexpected connections that carry new meaning.

Out of everything in Black Souls the scene that stuck with me the most is and will probably always be the one in the Terrible Tragic Hotel. The nostalgia of seeing the girls from the first game combined with their gruesome fates and the creepy music. It is really good at making you feel guilty for your actions in BS1. When I saw that scene for the first time I was left speechless. Incedible work Toro.

Kicking off year 2 with Penn State Freshman QB Peyton Falzone. Year 1 was a heavy focus on improving rotational quality, posture, stability and sequencing (for effortless power). He came into those first few sessions with a history of elbow pain but that went away completely in the first few weeks as he learned how to tap into the right power systems (AND take his throwing arm out of the power generation equation). His ability to throw for long periods of time w/o tiring and with no loss in velocity was something to see. Year 2 is building on what we started in 2025 and a heavy focus on arm path (accuracy). HD videos generate instantly, with time-to-first-frame under 100ms. Unlocking an entirely new creative paradigm and bolstering the foundations of our General World Model, GWM-1. Real-time generation opens a fundamentally different design space for video models and world simulation.
