Just watched this and I sat there for a second like damn. Captain comes on and says we got someone who needs to leave first so we’re gonna wait a bit. Whole plane goes quiet. Nobody sighs, nobody stands up early, nothing. Then you see the soldiers under the wing moving that flag-covered casket like it’s the only thing that matters on the entire airport. Hearse already waiting. Some people never even think about what that looks like until it’s right in front of them. I keep coming back to how calm everybody stayed. That silence said more than any speech could. Respect to the family and to every person on that flight who understood without being told twice.

This lady on an American Airlines flight at Charlotte Douglas International Airport is trying to pass people to get to the front of the plane while everyone waits to exit. The one guy asks her “why are you so special?” She says she is just trying to get to the front and then the gentleman behind her says “we all are!” She asks the guy in front if she says excuse me will he let her pass and he says no. Then she asks him “what if I hit you?” and the guy behind her says there are 30 witnesses! 🤯 And, all American Airlines did was get on the intercom and say “be respectful to each other.” 😳 I see this almost every week on planes. I think it’s time that airlines have the airline attendant move down row by row letting each row exit one by one and stopping anyone trying to rush to the front out of turn EXCEPT if they are trying to catch a connecting flight or are sick or what have you. Why does this lady think she is more important than everyone else? Why not buy a ticket up front if you want to get off first? Why do people like this feel entitled to bypass everyone else?
