The legendary Club Black show in New York. I was there with my gf Susanna at the time, it was standing room only and we were at the front of the stage. I remember Dave Chappelle was there in the audience as well. Prince was in a good mood that night, as he had just finished the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame performance a few hours earlier. Someone in the crowd had a sparkler that kept changing colors, which prompted Prince to show off his lucite heels that would display multiple colors every time he took a step.
