A library torched in violent riots during the summer has reopened after a huge community effort to rectify the damage. Children's Laureate Frank Cottrell-Boyce was at Spellow Library in Liverpool and wrote a special tribute which he read out on #BBCBreakfast

@frankcottrell_b Despite what you said on Channel 4 news, the riots were started because people do not feel safe from dangerous and reckless levels of immigration and fake asylum claims.
