A little gem from Carry On Camping (1969)

Surely the best Carry on film. The cast give it their all. Don't listen to the critics. This is classic British humour. Saucy postcard jokes and no one taking themselves too seriously. Kenneth, Sid, Peter, Charlie, Bernard, Hattie, Terry, Betty... all brilliant.

Charlie Hawtrey even had his own theme tune they played "Charlie is my darling"

I notice the musical arrangement as Charles Hawtrey strolls jauntily along, uses a phrase from part of the old Scottish melody 'Charlie is my darling'! You can tell the weather in real life was crap, and off season!

I always have to watch some Carry On films at Christmas. It's just a taste of that old humour. Even the music makes me smile 😀
