Almost 10 years ago we started making this film, but it never had closure because I wasn’t flying at the time. I was crippled by anxiety and trauma and had convinced myself I would never get on a plane again. At one point I told my manager, “Let the documentary come out when I’m dead.” I’m still here. And today, the documentary is out on Hulu. I hope my story can inspire someone who needs it the way I needed stories like this when I was a kid. For anyone who feels trapped, like their dreams are out of reach or certain things just aren’t accessible to them, I want them to know they’re not as far away as they might seem. I hope it can encourage anyone dealing with trauma, addiction, fear, or anything else weighing them down to keep going and overcome it. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. More than anything, I hope everyone who watches can take something from it. I’m grateful to be alive, grateful for this life, and grateful to live it in honor and memory of the friends and family I’ve lost along the way. Thank you 🙏🏼

I did not agree with Rob Reiner politically at all, and I have never hidden that. However, there is a clear line between political disagreement and basic human decency, and what happened to him and his wife is truly tragic. No one deserves to suffer harm or fear because of their beliefs. I refuse to let politics strip away compassion or celebrate another person’s suffering. My thoughts and prayers are with Rob Reiner, his wife, and their family, and I hope they find comfort, healing, and peace during this difficult time. 🙏🕊️❤️

I'm leaving now to go deep into the Amazon jungle with my friend Paul Rosolie, deep to parts of the rainforest that very few humans have ever seen. The purpose of this trip is to celebrate nature at its purest and most intense, and to celebrate the work of people like Paul who have dedicated their life to protecting the jungle and the endless diversity of life that calls it home. I’m trying to stay calm while I write this after what I just heard this woman say. Her name is “Hope Ful” on TikTok. She is angry that military and veterans get a 10 percent discount in certain stores and restaurants. “They’re already living off of taxpayer dollars. What about us? We get no benefit for supporting our military.” Allow me to tell you what benefits you get, Hope. You get the freedom of speech that allows you to spew this absolute crap on the internet. And I’m about to exercise mine. Because, just an FYI, I didn’t have that luxury as an MP. In the military, I gave up a lot of my rights as an American, and my body quite literally belonged to the US Government. But I’m a veteran now, and I can say, for the most part, what I want. We signed on the dotted line and said we were willing to give our lives to our country. To you, Hope. I live with an injured hand that is, quite literally, always in pain; I live with the pain of having lost one of my best friends; I live with the pain of a ten-year battle with PTSD and nights of no sleep. And go ahead and tack on stress fractures and knee/back/hip problems for life. Do you want to know what we get for that kind of sacrifice? A 4–6 month wait to be seen by a specialist at a VA hospital because the process of just getting medical care is a nightmare for veterans, a “thank you for your service,” and a 10% discount at a few restaurants. But we’re also grateful that we got to serve the country we love so much. We get to claim the honor of protecting our nation and our freedom. Freedom that you so ignorantly decided to use in order to make this video. You get to BREATHE, because of people like my friend who was willing to sacrifice everything.

With the rising cost of gasoline, many of our hardworking drivers are facing tighter and more difficult days, striving to provide for their families despite the challenges on the road. In our own simple way, we hope to ease that burden. Another raid last night. This time in Islamabad, where my wife and children live; complete with AK47s, masked men, and climbing over gates. Remember. I am not an absconder. I have submitted to the law. Remember, I have bail in all the known cases against me, including May 9, where the bail is confirmed, and it is on record that no evidence was presented. Meanwhile, at least two ex colleagues who have not applied for bail, were leading a jalsa for PTIP yesterday in Peshawar. All this does, is prove who is right and who is wrong. This can't be about 9th May, because we submitted to the court and now have bail. For me this isn't about Imran Khan, as much as I respect him, it is about trying, humbly, to stand up for what's right, and the sort of politics we should have. This country shouldn't be run like this. The police shouldn't be treated as a joke. The judicial system shouldn't be disregarded. Politicians shouldn't be for sale. Maybe someone should tell me, how to explain to my children how the law works in Pakistan? Or why I left my career to serve my country, because I believe in it? Another raid last night. This time in Islamabad, where my wife and children live; complete with AK47s, masked men, and climbing over gates. Remember. I am not an absconder. I have submitted to the law. Remember, I have bail in all the known cases against me, including May 9, where the bail is confirmed, and it is on record that no evidence was presented. Meanwhile, at least two ex colleagues who have not applied for bail, were leading a jalsa for PTIP yesterday in Peshawar. All this does, is prove who is right and who is wrong. This can't be about 9th May, because we submitted to the court and now have bail. For me this isn't about Imran Khan, as much as I respect him, it is about trying, humbly, to stand up for what's right, and the sort of politics we should have. This country shouldn't be run like this. The police shouldn't be treated as a joke. The judicial system shouldn't be disregarded. Politicians shouldn't be for sale. Maybe someone should tell me, how to explain to my children how the law works in Pakistan? Or why I left my career to serve my country, because I believe in it? Or why these cameras should be security against thieves, not the police? What a way to end this programme! 🇳🇬 Today, I am deeply humbled to be received by His Excellency, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, who personally sent for me to commend and appreciate the laudable initiative and successful completion of the free adenotonsillectomy surgeries. His words went beyond appreciation; they were a powerful charge to continue serving our country. He reminded me that there is hope for Nigeria when each of us contributes our quota to nation-building. He encouraged me, and others like me, not to give up on our country. He asked me to extend his appreciation to my entire team for giving back to Nigeria through our medical and surgical skills. His recognition of the sacrifice and commitment behind this initiative was deeply humbling. His Excellency was also delighted to recall the free cataract surgeries, eye treatments and distribution of free glasses carried out last Wednesday by Vision Savers, led by Sarkin Fulani, Dr. Kamal Abacha. I told him that this was my first self-sponsored medical outreach and expressed my hope that, with greater support, we can do even more in the future. He encouraged me to continue. I left that conversation deeply encouraged. This programme began with a simple conviction: that no child should be denied the opportunity to breathe, sleep, grow and live better simply because their family cannot afford surgery. This individual is supposed to be getting 24-hour care at a residential facility in Maine. In this security camera footage from a neighboring property, he can be seen wandering the streets in his underwear. We have seen and heard countless examples of residential caregivers asleep on the job. The cost of that neglect can lead to heartbreaking scenes like this. This is not the only example from this facility. Another neighbor said the following: "The kid walks right to the fridge, grabbed a gallon of orange juice and started chugging. I called the police. I had no idea the facility was even there. Scared the hell out of my daughter."
