Watch this. India had 31000 rapes in 2022. That is 85 a day. About 29% of women between age group of 18 to 49 experience domestic violence. As I write this, a nurse was allegedly raped by a doctor in Uttar Pradesh, yesterday. If you want to stop the exploitation of women, we need to make sure that they are in position of power and influence law and policy. Gender sensitivity starts with ceding power to women. Men should not decide for women. Of the 30 cabinet ministers, just 2 are women. Of the 32 CMs, just one is a woman. Only 13% IAS officers were women. Only 12% police force is women. In IAS, while the selection ratio has grown to 34%, very few raise to be collectors and most stop at being DMs or posted in welfare, culture and education departments. And the ratio of women IAS officers taking voluntary retirements is 4 times more than men. Watch this data analysis based on gender representation in IPS, IAS, STEM, MBBS, UG, PG.

An FIR for abetment of suicide has been registered at Safdarjung Enclave Police Station under section 108/61(2)BNS against the wife Swati who is also a Judge and her IAS sister Nidhi Malik in the suicide case of Karkardooma Court Judge Aman Kumar Sharma. But it seems more like a planned murder than a suicide as per the statement of Adv Prem Kumar Sharma, Father of Judge Aman Kumar Sharma. IAS Nidhi Malik is a 2013 Batch IAS officer who is posted in Jammu at Present. She is married to 2012 Batch IPS Officer Devesh Kumar Mahla who was posted as DCP at New Delhi District of Delhi Police and is currently posted as Director, FSSAI with Central Government. It is speculated that even Nidhi Malik is not having a harmonious relationship with her husband. We are waiting to see that how Delhi Police will handle this case with the names of Judge, IAS and even IPS connected with the case now.

This person, arguing over parking, claims to be an IAS officer, even flaunting a yellow beacon in his car. Under what authority? For what purpose? The man is retired IAS officer Dilip Shinde. Officers like him, who served politicians obediently, often get rewarded with plush posts after retirement and the arrogance continues. If this is his behaviour after retirement, imagine his conduct while in service! The decay in the IAS cadre didn’t start today. Puja Khedkar is just a symptom of a deeper rot. People are surprised that how can an IAS officer afford paying for chartered flights from his salary?
