I just posted about the new Manufacturing Experience Centre at @Tech Mahindra Chennai. This is one of the exhibits in the Centre. A simulation of what a workstation in a ‘future factory’ will look like… Making quality a given… I started my internship in 1978 in the shop floor at our Kandivli auto plant. Beginning with the gear shop, I trained in each shop in the plant. If someone had told me at that time that this is what future workstations would be like, I would have scoffed, saying that’s ‘science fiction’. Imagine the pride I feel to see Tech Mahindra turn sci-fi into reality!
