The song dated back to 1973, when Slade took the Noddy Holder and Jim Lea composition to No. 1 in the UK. Oasis recorded their own version during the (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? era and released it as the B-side to “Don’t Look Back in Anger” in February 1996. This performance therefore offered a rare Noel-fronted version before the Oasis recording was officially released.
