After watching the first 2 seconds, I learned to use that machine better than the guy using it in that video 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is a good example of horsepower vs torque. This has plenty of horsepower to get that blade turning pretty fast but not enough torque to keep it going when faced with resistance.

Idk.. If I owned this machine I wouldn’t let the guy in the video run it.

Oddly Lumberjack

It kept stopping and pissed me off lol

Was anyone else getting annoyed that he wasn’t allowing the blade to get up to speed before he started to cut?

That is some dull teeth, or a really weak hydraulic pump on the machine or one very green operator.

It chops down trees, eats its lunch and goes to the lavatory.

The person operating the machine in that video isn’t using it correctly. That cutter relies on inertia and needs to spin up for ~10sec to reach full RPM before cutting (usually that happens while driving from one tree to the next). At full RPM it’ll go straight through in 1 pass

This is a logger. Lumberjacks use an ax.
