A Macy's manager decides to fire an wmployee in a crowded elevator, full of customers.

Macy's responded that these two were never employees and this is a staged skit as he says it's not him & she continues to claim it's real.

First of all, that is not appropriate, and I hope @Macys has dealt with him. He should be fired publicly. Also, the calm reactions surprise me; I'd have gone off.

I don’t know a nice way to put it but What the ACTUAL HELL?!🤬 I’ve never seen a @Macys manager so RACIST and disrespectful. Especially to customers in the elevator!! If you need him, clearly, you don’t need Black people to shop in ANY of your stores. If that’s your policy, Shut them all down!

The fact that he felt comfortable with everything he was doing speaks volumes! He was comfortable firing an employee for a family emergency, comfortable doing it in front of customers, and comfort with racially insulting her in front of people. What's? His? Name?

The level of unprofessionalism shown by the manager is astounding. I hope Macy’s realizes how bad of a look this is & fires him. He can’t wait 2 minutes to get off the elevator & speak in private?
