Our sweet Beagle Shadow who crossed 2 yrs ago at 15 we got her from a Lab rescue, she never wanted to be held for more than a couple of minutes, didn't know how to play or act like a dog and it was 3 yrs before she barked (but never the Beagle Barooo) This is her 1st day home

It's a wire fox terrier! I had one too, and he reacted to water in the same way. You could not keep him out of it. We would take him with us on boat rides, but he would always jump out of the boat, so we had to stop. He went absolutely beserk whenever he saw the water.
