A man has died in a queue while waiting for help to upgrade his electricity prepaid meter in Orlando East in Soweto. An eyewitness says the man collapsed and died on the spot. Newzroom Afrika's Nqobile Madlala has more. Watch: #Newzroom405

@NqobileMadlala_ Most people did not know about this meter upgrade. I don’t know where some of you heard about it last year but the majority of us did not see or hear about it on our media platforms TV, Radio social media etc until this Monday.

@NqobileMadlala_ All this could have been avoided if people were law-abiding and did the right thing over a year ago. I live abroad but my meter in CT was reprogrammed months ago

@NqobileMadlala_ They have had sufficient time to get their $hit together, I mean since October last year! They were also told not to queue outside eskom offices. I guess black people and listening are water and oil
