Rot from the root to the leafs, nothing is working. Judiciary requires our focus we need to weed out those "my lord" that are not ready to discharge there duties.

This is the reason some people can never stand for someone as a guarantor, some people just have bad intentions and don’t care about how their actions can affect others

In 2022, I attended a youth conference at Redemption Camp. Around 3 a.m. one night, my dad called me. He said he’d had a dream and warned me to be careful - especially about the friends I kept and anyone I chose to stand surety for. Two weeks after I returned, a friend approached me with a guarantor form. He needed someone to stand for him. I hesitated… and declined. Three months later, he stole a large sum of money. Those who had signed for him were arrested. Their families were left to deal with the fallout. Some warnings don’t make sense in the moment - but they can save you from consequences you never saw coming.
See who they still do morning prayers? Despite all the atrocities in there? Religion is a virus, humans are wicked and hypocritical.
He definitely didn’t commit any crime. His liability as a guarantor does not exceed paying for the stolen items. There’s no legal backing for holding him liable for someone else’s crimes. It seems he spent 3 years in prison while awaiting trial. Our justice system is too broken.
When did Nigeria start sending guarantors to prison? Like this country is ruled by fucking leaders who do not abide by the law... That man should be compensated. Or he Sue the people that got him into that mess...

In anything you do in this Nigeria just make sure you get money,some of these People na money like 30k,50k and so allow dem spend so many years for Prison
A friend to a th!ef is also a th!ef, that's not his first he has been stealing and yet you're mercifully enough to be a guarantor.

Grace saved me in my mid-20s. A transport guy I knew wanted me as guarantor for a bus. I ignored him cos of football. Months later he vanished with the bus. His guarantor was arrested & forced to pay. Lesson: Never guarantee what you can’t afford.
You spent 3 years in prison for a crime you didn’t commit because of a totally dysfunctional system. Omo, God didn’t do anything for you. God could have made it so you would not have gone through all that in the first place.

It is really heartbreaking the stories that come out from our correctional facilities, inmates are treated with the most inhumane treatment & a complete violation of their human rights. Even if one has committed a crime they are still entitled to basic human decency and respect.

Who no go no go know. My second younger brother almost spend the rest of him life for prison ontop adjournment and failure to bring them to court on hearing days. I no fit explain how he take come out sha. Nah God las las run am.
