The road signs are there for a reason, they are not optional. This guy took a 54000kg truck onto one of the steepest, tightest roads in the region. He then got stuck on the shoulder, closing the road for 3 hours while he was pulled out. "I was following my nav" Halton Police ^MD

This is the Condition of Ghodbunder Road, Constituency of Minister Pratap Baburao Sarnaik. Every year, we pay our taxes on time. Yet every monsoon, we're left with broken roads, flooded streets, and poor infrastructure. My_MBMC is Waiting for someone to die. Thank you CMO Maharashtra

Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway: “Why Abandon Existing Roads And Spend Billions On New Ones While Citizens Struggle Daily With Poor Infrastructure? Maintaining Existing Roads Should Come First. For Example, Just Look At The State Of The Roads In Kogi. They’re In Terrible Condition, Yet They Remain Among The Most Heavily Traveled Routes In Nigeria.”

Was crossing Goa’s CM Office yesterday and saw that the entire main road leading up to CMO was broken. If Pramod Sawant cannot fix the roads outside the CM office, how will he fix the roads for ordinary Goans?

Richest State of India. Just watch this video and feel the pain of the people. 💔 All the roads in interior Gadchiroli are completely broken. You can’t even walk on them, forget about using any vehicle. How long will these areas remain neglected?

Many habitations in Valparai in Coimbatore district and in the rest of the state remain cut off, despite the DMK Government's claims that every habitation in the state has been connected with roads. Here is a heart-wrenching video of an elderly man being carried on foot by villagers for medical help, simply because a road does not exist. In the last 4 years, the Central Government has released ₹2043 Crores to Tamil Nadu under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). Where are the roads? Where did the money go?

🚨Can you IMAGINE? These were the roads & the environment of Delhi in 2014. This is Kanjhawala Road, which isn’t even a posh area of the city. Today, almost all roads are broken, the AQI is above 600 and the city looks ugly. The downfall is REAL.

A “new Canadian” called a shop looking for a new rim for his trailer. He drove it to the shop & you won’t believe the state of it. Our roads are so incredibly unsafe with these unqualified individuals driving around on them.

A concerned driver has criticized the recurring practice by some residents in Accra who block roads on weekends for mini-events without proper authorization. He questioned whether the necessary permissions are obtained from authorities and highlighted how such actions inconvenience road users. He also raised concerns about public safety, warning that blocked roads could hinder emergency response efforts in critical situations.

Peter Obi sat down here and listed all the bad roads in Nigeria. Seems, he's got a map of the country in his head. No wonder he was advocating for the rehabilitation of existing roads instead of the coastal road. And we actually called him a mad man for that 😥 And now, look at what's happening in Edo State.

No matter whether the Chief Minister changes or not, the condition of Bengaluru's roads seems to remain the same. Just look at the state of this road. Thousands of citizens use this stretch every day for their daily commute, yet it has been reduced to what looks more like an off-road track than a city road. The entire stretch is filled with craters, broken surfaces, loose gravel, and missing tar. Driving here is not only uncomfortable but also dangerous for motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians alike. During rains, these potholes become even more hazardous, increasing the risk of accidents and vehicle damage. Citizens continue to pay taxes, road tax, fuel tax, and various other levies with the expectation of receiving basic infrastructure and safe roads. But looking at conditions like these, one question naturally arises: Where is the taxpayers' money going? Bengaluru deserves better. Safe and well-maintained roads are not a luxury they are a basic necessity for every citizen. Karnataka State Police S. Talegaon Dabhade, Pune Police ! A college-aged man was stopped by a policeman on a three-seater bike in Talegaon Dabhade, Pune, as he was riding a triple-seater bike. Stopped and asked him to pay a fine for driving a triple seater. "However, the law student told the police that he would pay the fine only if they gave him a receipt. After the student gave such a reply, the police got angry and the police literally beat the student inhumanly. When the young man went to file a complaint at the police station, the police there also threatened to file a case against him. This information has been given by the student's family. It will be important to see what action the police administration will take on this. While crime is rampant in the state as a whole, the inaction of the police is clearly visible, while on the other hand, it is evident how the police are harassing ordinary people for trivial reasons

Tinubu’s obsession with borrowing billions of dollars to build new “legacy” roads is not, in itself, a bad idea. Infrastructure is critical to Nigeria’s economic development. But there is a more immediate crisis that demands the President’s urgent attention. The deplorable condition of the majority of Nigeria’s federal roads is inflicting enormous hardship on Nigerians, destroying vehicles, driving up transport costs, disrupting businesses and, in many cases, costing lives. Before embarking on more grandiose road projects financed by billions in borrowed dollars, the President should declare a state of emergency on Nigeria’s existing roads. A government must not only build for the future; it must also fix the infrastructure that millions of citizens depend on today.
