According to his family, he has bipolar disorder, and his condition became worse after the passing of his mother. He is currently under medical care and takes prescribed medication. The family explained that during some episodes of his illness, he may leave home and wander the streets. This has led many people to believe that he is homeless, which is not true. They also shared that he has a passion for recycling and environmental conservation, which is why he is sometimes seen collecting recyclable materials or around dumpsites. I would like to clarify to the general public that this man is not homeless. He has a loving family that cares deeply for him. When you see him on the streets, please do not judge or discriminate against him. Instead, treat him with dignity, kindness, and respect, knowing that he is living with a mental health condition. The family has also appealed to the public not to buy him alcohol or give him weed, as both can interfere with his prescribed medication and may seriously affect his health. I lost my best friend back in 2019 from a heart attack. He had a generic heart condition. It’s sad that some #Texans fans shamed CJ for having an actual emotion when his best friend was lying there, not knowing the true extent of his injury. CJ Stroud eloquently talked about both his emotions and his faith in Jesus Christ. No matter what you think of CJ Stroud the football player (and I do think highly of him as a football player) you can not disparage him for the young man & leader that he already has become.
