That is what you do when you don’t notice someone in your building. He tells this woman it’s against the law to call the police on an elected official. 🚨BREAKING: An ICE agent pulled a gun on an unarmed man, who was running AWAY from him… into an apartment complex… in Austin, Texas. This morning agents tried to stop two men, who then ran. In the video, an agent couldn’t catch one man, so he pulls his gun and points it at another unarmed man, while chasing him through a residential area. That is not normal. Pointing a firearm at someone is a use of force. And courts have been very clear… you don’t get to threaten lethal force just because someone ran from you. Running is not an imminent deadly threat. And this wasn’t an empty field. This was an apartment complex… where innocent people, including children, could have been in the line of fire because an agent decided to escalate a nonviolent situation. The agent then tells the man to get on the ground, which he does… and as the man is lying there unarmed, complying, the agent still has his gun pointed at him. Only after another agent says, “I got it, I got it,” does he finally holster his weapon. So, let’s be honest about what we’re watching… This is what poorly trained agents look like when they believe there are no consequences. This is what happens when escalation is normalized, and drawing a weapon becomes instinct instead of a last resort. An agent couldn’t catch someone… so he pulled a gun. A pattern we keep seeing. And every time it starts the same way, someone running away. Running away is not a capital offense. It does not justify threatening lethal force in a residential area, full of families. It does not justify pointing a firearm at an unarmed person, especially when on the ground. When agents feel empowered to escalate situations like this, it signals something bigger than one incident... It signals a culture that believes badges override constitutional rights. Threatening deadly force, when there is no immediate threat, is illegal. And it has to stop. Because the next time an agent “can’t catch” someone, we already know how the story can end.

And this all happened in a busy gas station parking lot… In the video, a person is recording while walking toward the sidewalk… When suddenly, an ICE agent draws his firearm, turns around, and points his gun directly at the unarmed U.S. citizen. And just to be clear… No one was attacking him, rushing toward him, or even armed with any sort of weapon. In fact, no one was even close enough to pose an immediate physical threat. Then, the agent, with his gun still drawn, orders a car to move. As it backs up, he recklessly sweeps his loaded firearm across multiple unarmed people… including a MINOR… who are standing on a public sidewalk, legally record from a distance. The person filming keeps asking… “What’s the threat?” Because the video clearly doesn’t show one. Moments later, the same agent points his gun at the person filming, AGAIN. Then, a shirtless man walks around the vehicle to see what’s happening, and the agent immediately points the gun at him, too. At this point, a second ICE agent is seen, standing on the side of the car, with HIS gun drawn, too. And after all of that… The man, they were demanding papers from, walks away because he wasn’t undocumented. And the ICE agents get into their car and leave. Federal officers are trained to draw their firearms only when they reasonably believe there is an imminent threat of death, or serious bodily harm. Every time a loaded firearm is pointed at someone, there is a risk of a tragic mistake… especially in a public place where innocent bystanders could be caught in the middle. And once again… recording federal agents, from a public place, is protected by the First Amendment, so long as you are not interfering with their duties. And no one was interfering… or even near them. So, what exactly justified having multiple firearms drawn, and pointed at unarmed people, in a crowded gas station parking lot? This wasn’t just dangerous for the people filming… It was dangerous for everyone in that parking lot. And this video is just another example of what happens when poorly trained ICE agents aren’t held accountable.

As the Garda walks away this muslim man who lives on the North Circular Road (his full address is stated) he says "I will destroy you". I know he is a muslim because at one point he mentions Allah. By rights someone should report this video to the Gardaí because he is clearly seen making a threat (albeit in a cowardly manner when the Garda is just out of earshot). To be honest I'm not going out of my way to do that because they have done me no favours when I have dealt with them over serious matters. The Garda in this case was way too nice and patient. If it was a non muslim non migrant driver I'm not sure he if he would have been like that.

Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez owes the public an apology. Or he should resign. At a press conference about an active shooter, reporters asked one simple question: What did the suspect yell before opening fire? Multiple witnesses reported the suspect shouted “Allahu Akbar and the victim was one of the only outspoken Christian conservatives on campus. The chief REFUSED to answer. Repeatedly. That is not protecting an investigation. That is actively impeding one. He ran interference for the jihadi. Why? Police do not get to withhold identifying information due to their woke leanings. They do not get to prioritize optics over public safety. They do not get to treat the truth like a PR liability. This was a dereliction of duty, in real time. The choice is simple. This dude unloads on cop in a who is in the right type situation. We are in Adam's county PA where a Law Enforcement Ranger pulls over a man because he is saying he could not see his tag. By the officers own admission he was able to see the tag as he got closer but proceeded with the stop. As per usual the officer asks for ID and the man in truck went to work on this officer telling him this is an illegal stop as no crime has been committed so he is not required to provide ID. Through out the interaction he asks the officer if he is free to go and the officer doubles down on detainment. However at the same time when asked the officer was not able to articulate a crime. The man also asked for a sergeant and the officer never compiled by getting a supervisor on scene which honestly would have been the best move. There are two ways to look at this interaction. The eyes of the officer: The officer calmly maintains that the traffic stop is entirely lawful. In the United States, law enforcement needs reasonable suspicion to initiate a traffic stop. An obscured license plate or illegally dark window tint satisfies that standard in almost every jurisdiction. Furthermore, once a lawful traffic stop is initiated, a driver is legally required to produce a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration. The driver's perspective: The driver claims that his tags are legit and the officer was able to see that when he ran them. He argues that because the ranger claimed at first he could not see the tags but now he can as he approached the vehicle. Since the officer admitted he can now see the tags and there is no problem with the tags, the initial stop was "erroneous" and constitutes an illegal search and seizure. He also details a personal grievance with local law enforcement, claiming a local district attorney and police officers have been "terrorizing" him. What is your take on this stop? Was this a case of an officer error where with the cop trying to save face by digging for a reason for the stop, or was this a legal stop and this officer deserves praise for staying calm while dealing with this man's outbursts? Today he stated he stands by “the necessity of upholding that public health mandate” even though today the mandate has been completely discredited. Every education district in New York state had a testing option for workers in lieu of vaccination with only one exception - NYC. There were dozens (if not hundreds) of NYPD employees allowed to stay on the job in NYC unvaccinated who were allowed to test in lieu of vaccination. So why not teachers? Kitchen workers? Firefighters? Sanitation workers? I greatly thank Zhoran Mamdani for stating clearly, on the record, that he stands in opposition to all unvaccinated people. He makes clear he will bring back a vaccine mandate for all New York workers if he ever believes there is a need for it. No one should vote for, or rank, Zhoran Mamdani in the upcoming Democratic primary on June 24 in NYC, nor during the general election on November 4.
