According to him, the man had contacted him days earlier, claiming he wanted to buy clothes. After selecting the items he wanted, the seller sent his account details for payment. About two hours later, he received ₦350,000 in his account, but it was already evening. He told the man he would send the waybill to Asaba the next morning, but the man insisted he should either send it that night or refund the ₦350,000. The next day, when he tried reaching him to complete the delivery, the man stopped answering his calls. Moments later, another number called him, it was a lady asking where the wig she paid for was.
