As you can see, he was pushed away by police and warned that if he didn’t leave he’d face arrest. The video on the right shows someone in the pro Hamas group, giving a Jewish person the finger in front of a police officer who did nothing. The two tier element couldn’t be starker. For more than year British Jews have had to put up with this light policing of groups of people who are not shy about expressing their support of the aims of Hamas. This is emboldening and radicalising people. It puts us all in danger. Being antisemitic and hateful towards British Jews will do nothing to help the people of Gaza.
