I am afro american/fba/ados. But i have tasted a lot of great african dishes. You must choose a good restaurant. Sinigal,gambia,mali,ghana, mostley. A lot of yummy dishes but to each his own.

That's a Nigerian plate. I've seen some good looking plates from Nigerian but this mess looks horrible! Ethiopian food is good, so is Senegalese, I've had an Egyptian plate made by a real Egyptian that was very good. This Mauritanian dude made me some bomb ass peanut soup!!

I hope he can get the help he needs. That must have been a traumatizing event. At least he had a spoon though 🤣. They usually dip the play dough into everything and then eat it.
