A man was seen entering an elevator just minutes before it malfunctioned. Here's the footage of what happened next.

(June 24, 2014) Providencia, Chile - A terrifying elevator ride in Chile. A man stepped into an elevator only to have it completely malfunction. It went faster and faster to speeds of 50 miles an hour, going up 31 floors in 15 seconds. As the man pressed the buttons to get it to stop, it caused the doors to open for the whole ride. It eventually crashed at the top. The man suffered from head and leg injuries, but was rescued by firefighters. According to Chilean news sources, the elevator was inside a building that was just finished eight months ago. An investigation has been launched.
