Tourists on a safari narrowly escaped a wild elephant near the Bhadra right-bank canal, close to #Lakkavalli in #Tarikere taluk on Friday. The tourists were travelling in a jeep belonging to Jungle Lodges and Resorts for a safari. At that moment, near the Bhadra Ranganatha Swamy temple, a wild elephant chased the jeep. As they were about to be attacked by a wild elephant, the driver quickly reversed the jeep, displaying presence of mind. Due to the driver’s quick response, the tourists narrowly escaped the elephant’s attack. A video of the elephant chasing the jeep was captured on the tourists’ camera and has gone viral on social media.

During a safari trip, a baby elephant (only a few months old) was extremely curious and stubborn, repeatedly using its trunk to touch, explore, and even trying to climb into a tourist bus 💖 The mother elephant became very worried. She used her trunk to pull her baby back several times, gently pushed it away, and tried to guide it somewhere else. But the little elephant refused to listen, clinging to the vehicle like it was a “brand-new toy.” Eventually, the mother elephant had to use the trick of “pretending to walk away” so that the baby would follow her back.
